The new Pirate centre Prague (PiCe Praha) opened in autumn 2018 as a contact point for public supporters of the Pirate party. The venue has been hosting public workshops, courses, lectures, seminars, presentations and screenings. Further agenda of the PiCe Praha can be found in the Google Calendar and includes local community events, regular board meetings and election campaign committee meetings. The offices of three Pirate members of Parliament (Ondřej Profant, František Kopřiva and Jakub Michálek) are also located in the same building.
How to find us / Getting here
The nearest underground station is Karlovo náměstí, following the exit for Palackého náměstí. We are situated on the ground floor of an eye-catching modern building, the south-west side of Palackého náměstí. Look out for the unmissable electronic display on the facade and the Pirate party logo.
The nearest tram stop is Palackého náměstí, where lines 3, 4, 10, 16 and 22 stop. The Centre is visible from the stop. Taking tram lines 6, 17, 18 and 24, you have to cross from Rašínovo nábřeží (the embankment) to Palackého náměstí, where you can easily follow the instructions above.
There are bus lines 176 and 148 stopping directly at Palackého náměstí.
The nearest pay and display parking space can be found in the purple parking zone located near the PiCe Praha. The parking ticket allows you to park your car for up to 12 hours during the opening hours. Parking in the purple zone is unregulated outside of opening hours.
You will find a designated parking space on Na Moráni street in front of the office entrance. There is no step-free access, but the office can provide a ram for those with mobility issues.
